Both models share a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, producing 69 bhp at 9,300 rpm and 57.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. Designed and engineered at Norton's Solihull headquarters, the Atlas range is built on a lightweight steel trellis chassis. Key features include fully adjustable KYB suspension, an 8-inch TFT display, cornering cruise control, and Norton Rider app connectivity. The off-road oriented Atlas features a 19-inch front wheel, while the Atlas GT utilizes 17-inch wheels at both ends.
The Norton Atlas is expected to rival models like the BMW F 450 GS, Kawasaki Versys 650, Honda NX500, and Triumph Tiger Sport 660 in India's growing premium adventure motorcycle segment. The motorcycles will be retailed through TVS's Paddock premium range of dealerships, reflecting the premium positioning of the brand.
