Yamaha Motor India has launched the FZ RAVE and XSR 155 motorcycles and debuted its first electric scooters, the Aerox E and EC-06, for the Indian market, signaling a major push into electric mobility.

Yamaha Motor India has significantly expanded its product portfolio with the launch of two new motorcycles, the FZ RAVE and XSR 155, while simultaneously marking its official entry into the burgeoning electric two-wheeler segment. This strategic move aligns with the company's aggressive growth plans for the Indian market, aiming to cater to both performance enthusiasts and environmentally conscious riders. The new FZ RAVE is priced at Rs 1,17,218 (ex-showroom), and the neo-retro XSR 155 carries a price tag starting from Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

In a pioneering step towards sustainable mobility, Yamaha also unveiled its first electric scooters for India: the Aerox E and the EC-06. These electric models are engineered to offer a compelling blend of range and speed, with a promised range of up to 160 kilometers on a single charge and a top speed reaching 90 kmph. While the pricing details for the electric scooters are slated for an announcement in the first quarter of 2026, Yamaha has indicated plans to develop a robust charging infrastructure to support its forthcoming electric lineup. The company intends to introduce 10 new models, including more electric vehicles, by 2025-26 as part of its future strategy in India.
