Škoda Auto India has introduced a comprehensively updated Kushaq SUV to the Indian market, incorporating elements of Škoda's 'Modern Solid' design language and a host of new features. The refreshed model, unveiled on January 20, 2026, aims to reinforce India's significance as a key growth market for Škoda globally.
Among the segment-first technologies introduced are an all-new eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, paired with the 1.0 TSI engine, and a Rear Seat Massage function. Other notable additions include a panoramic sunroof, dual-color ambient lighting, six-way electric seats with ventilation for front passengers, and disc brakes on all four wheels for the 1.5 TSI variant. The infotainment system is a 10.1-inch unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The updated Kushaq retains its robust driving characteristics and a maximum ground clearance of 188 mm. It also features a new front grille with chrome ribs, an Illuminated Light Band, new LED headlights, front parking sensors, and new connected taillights with sequential turn indicators. The Monte Carlo trim will be available from launch, and the SUV will come in new colors like Shimla Green, Steel Grey, and Cherry Red.
