This new model is anticipated to be named the Hector Hawk and is based on the Wuling Starlight 560 SUV, which has been observed undergoing testing across India on multiple occasions.

The Hector Hawk is engineered on the scalable Tianyu Architecture, specifically utilizing the D-platform, and is expected to be offered in both plug-in hybrid and all-electric configurations. It is poised to compete with established rivals such as the Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV 7XO, aiming to capture a significant share in the burgeoning SUV segment.

The interior of the SUV is projected to feature a minimalist design complemented by modern amenities, including a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a six-speaker audio system, and automatic climate control. The plug-in hybrid variant will integrate a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 20.5 kWh battery and a front-mounted motor, collectively generating 197 hp and 230 Nm of torque.
