TL;DR
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has become the first OEM in India to sell over 3 lakh electric commercial vehicles, achieving the last 1 lakh sales in a record 12 months.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Ltd (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, has announced a significant milestone, surpassing cumulative sales of 3 lakh electric commercial vehicles in India. This achievement positions MLMML as the first original equipment manufacturer in India's commercial EV segment to reach such a landmark, underscoring its leadership in sustainable last-mile transportation.
The company highlighted that the last 1 lakh vehicles were sold in just 12 months, marking its fastest growth period. Mahindra's electric vehicle fleet, which includes the Treo range, Zor Grand, e-Alfa three-wheelers, and the Mahindra ZEO four-wheeler, has collectively covered over 5 billion kilometers, effectively offsetting more than 185 kilotonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. This rapid adoption is attributed to a robust after-sales ecosystem and customer-focused programs like UDAY NXT, which offers driver benefits and financial counseling.
