Priced at ₹89.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the luxury electric car is now available for bookings at Lexus Guest Experience Centres nationwide. This launch marks Lexus's entry into India's growing BEV segment, offering a sophisticated option for environmentally conscious luxury buyers.
The ES500e is equipped with a newly developed 74.68 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing an ARAI-certified driving range of approximately 580 km on a single charge. It boasts a maximum system output of 252 kW and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. The vehicle supports DC fast charging at 150 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in about 28 minutes under optimal conditions.
This all-wheel-drive sedan emphasizes a harmonious blend of environmental consciousness, luxury, and advanced technology. Lexus India President Hikaru Ikeuchi stated that the ES500e reflects the brand's vision for the future of luxury mobility in India and reinforces its multi-pathway approach to electrification. The company is also considering expanding its global lineup in India based on customer demand and infrastructure readiness.
