India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2027 model year Versys 650 in India, introducing a fresh Candy Lime Green color option. The adventure touring motorcycle maintains its price at ₹8.63 lakh (ex-showroom), similar to its 2026 predecessor. This update also brings enhanced features, including smartphone connectivity to its 4.3-inch TFT display.
Apart from the new paint scheme, which also incorporates Metallic Spark Black finishes in selected areas, the motorcycle retains its proven design, engine specifications, and mechanical components. Key features for the 2027 Versys 650 include LED lighting, a two-mode Kawasaki Traction Control system, and a four-position adjustable windscreen, providing approximately 80mm of movement.
Powering the Versys 650 is Kawasaki’s reliable 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 67 PS at 8,500 rpm and 61 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This is coupled with a six-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle’s 17-inch wheels with radial tires emphasize its road-focused character, making it suitable for diverse riding conditions from city commutes to highway touring. Deliveries for the 2027 Versys 650 are set to begin by the end of August 2026.
