JBM Ecolife's electric bus fleet in India now exceeds 3,000 units, with recent deployments in Delhi (103 buses) and a 100-bus order for Gandhinagar, boosting sustainable public transport.

JBM Ecolife, an electric bus manufacturing company and part of JBM Auto, has significantly expanded its electric mobility footprint across India, with its total fleet now exceeding 3,000 electric buses. This milestone has been achieved through new deployments in key Indian cities, notably Delhi and Gandhinagar. The expansion reinforces India's push towards clean and sustainable public transport.

In New Delhi, 103 JBM Ecolife 9-meter low-floor air-conditioned electric buses were inducted into the public transport fleet, bringing JBM's electric bus presence in the capital to nearly 1,000 units. Additionally, under the Government of India's PM e-Bus Sewa scheme, JBM Ecolife signed an agreement with the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) to supply 100 electric buses, with 40 to be delivered by the end of FY2025-26. These buses are equipped with features like CCTV cameras, automatic doors, and accessibility features for various passengers, supported by modern depot and charging infrastructure.
