October 2025 automotive sales figures in India reflect a robust performance, influenced by the festive season and the full impact of new GST rate implementations. Hyundai Motor India reported total sales of 69,894 units, with domestic sales reaching 53,792 units and exports at 16,102 units. The combined sales of its popular CRETA and VENUE models stood at 30,119 units, indicating strong consumer demand for SUVs.

Nissan Motor India also experienced significant growth, recording a 45% month-on-month consolidated sales increase in October 2025, with a total of 9,675 cars sold. While exports dominated with 7,273 units, domestic sales contributed 2,402 units, driven by continued strong demand for the Nissan Magnite. Skoda Auto India achieved its highest-ever monthly sales, reaching 8,252 units in October, primarily due to strong demand for its new sub-4-meter SUV, the Kylaq, alongside consistent sales of the Kodiaq, Kushaq, and Slavia sedan.

In the three-wheeler segment, Atul Auto reported a 7.5% year-on-year domestic sales growth, selling 3,543 units. While domestic internal combustion engine sales increased by 12.85%, the EV segment for Atul Auto saw a slight decrease of 4.5% in domestic sales for the month. Overall, the industry is banking on continued positive momentum in the coming months, especially for two-wheelers and SUVs, fueled by ongoing festive cheer.
