Bajaj Auto Emerges as Top EV Two-Wheeler Seller in October 2025 Amid Festive Demand

TL;DR

Bajaj Auto led India's EV two-wheeler sales in October 2025 with 29,597 units, driven by festive offers, outpacing TVS, Ather, and Ola Electric.

Bajaj Auto has taken the lead in the Indian electric two-wheeler market for October 2025, driven by strong festive demand and attractive consumer offers. Data from the Vahan portal indicates that Bajaj Auto delivered 29,597 EV units, securing a significant market share of 21.9%. The company's aggressive cashback schemes and low down-payment options on its Chetak Urbane and Premium variants played a crucial role in boosting urban sales.

TVS Motor Company remained a close contender, registering 28,008 units and holding a 20.7% market share, primarily sustained by its popular iQube range. Ather Energy also showcased a strong performance with 26,713 sales, capturing a 19.6% market share, aided by the recent launch of its 450 Apex model and an expanded charging network.

In contrast, Ola Electric recorded 15,481 units, representing 11.6% of the market. This reflects a gradual decline for Ola Electric after several months of falling sales and increased competition from rival EV two-wheeler manufacturers. Overall, the electric two-wheeler segment witnessed an 11% sequential rise in registrations, surpassing the 204,000 mark. This surge underscores the positive impact of holiday season promotions and improved financing options across the sector, highlighting continued consumer interest in electric mobility.
