Triumph Bonneville 400 Set for Global Unveiling on October 6th

TL;DR

Triumph is set to globally unveil its new Bonneville 400 motorcycle on October 6th, with an Indian launch expected, positioning it as a direct competitor to the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Triumph, the renowned British motorcycle manufacturer, is poised for the global premiere of four new motorcycle models on October 6th, 2026, with the highly anticipated Bonneville 400 confirmed for an Indian debut. A recent teaser video offered a glimpse into the upcoming bikes, highlighting the India-bound Bonneville 400, which has been previously spotted undergoing testing in India without camouflage.

The Bonneville 400 is expected to be Triumph's smallest Bonneville model to date and is set to directly compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the Indian market. It is anticipated to launch ahead of the Diwali festive season in November 2026.

The India-spec Bonneville 400 will likely be powered by a new 349cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, similar to that found in the Speed 400 and Scrambler models, producing a maximum power of 36.5 bhp and peak torque of 32 Nm. Spy images have revealed a production-ready model featuring a new chassis and swingarm, with a redesigned rear subframe to accommodate a flat, bench-type seat and an elongated rear profile.
