Ducati has launched the 2025 Panigale V2 and V2 S models in India, set to be available from January 2026. These new motorcycles boast an updated engine and advanced rider aids, redefining the middleweight superbike segment. The Panigale V2 and V2 S will be offered in the signature Ducati Red color. The base variant of the 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 is priced at Rs 19.12 lakh, while the V2 S variant is available for Rs 21.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
At the core of these new models is a brand-new 890 cc 90° V2 engine, which is the lightest twin-cylinder powerplant ever produced by Ducati, weighing only 54.4 kg. This engine delivers 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, providing robust mid-range power and instant throttle response. The engine is also E20 fuel compliant for the Indian market, ensuring both performance and sustainability. The V2 S model has a dry weight of 175kg, making it the lightest Panigale ever built.
In terms of technology, both the V2 and V2 S come equipped with a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and a comprehensive suite of rider aids, including cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. The S variant further enhances the riding experience with standard launch control and a pit limiter. The design draws clear inspiration from the flagship Panigale V4, featuring aggressive full-LED headlights with DRLs, a sculpted fuel tank, and a fully faired tail section.
