Vietnamese electric carmaker VinFast has announced ambitious plans to introduce a total of five electric vehicle (EV) models in India by the end of 2026. This aggressive expansion follows the positive reception of its initial two EV SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in the Indian market.
The next anticipated launch from VinFast, expected in the first half of this year, is the Limo Green electric MPV. Positioned to compete with models like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax7, the Limo Green is projected to be priced between Rs 18-20 lakh (ex-showroom). Key features of this MPV will include a 60.1 kWh battery offering an estimated range of 450 km, and a front-wheel-mounted electric motor producing 201 bhp and 280 Nm of torque.
The Limo Green will showcase VinFast's signature V-shaped LED lighting elements and a sophisticated exterior design. Inside, it is expected to offer a large central touchscreen, a spacious three-row layout, and a comprehensive suite of modern comfort features, targeting families seeking practical and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
