The subcompact SUV is expected to receive noticeable changes, including the introduction of a new transmission and an upgraded infotainment system.
The updated Brezza could be Maruti Suzuki's first petrol model to feature a 6-speed manual gearbox, alongside the existing 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic options. A larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, borrowed from the Maruti Victoris, is also anticipated. Other expected interior enhancements include a revised cabin theme, updated trims, new upholstery, a refreshed digital driver's display, a new audio system, and ventilated seats. Exterior revisions are subtle, with redesigned bumpers and new alloy wheels. While retaining the 1.5L K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine, there are reports suggesting the potential introduction of a new 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine from the Maruti Fronx, possibly paired with the new 6-speed manual gearbox.
