FZ 250 BS4 (2017-2020)
The eAuto fuel pump assembly covers the Yamaha FZ 25 / FZ 250 and FAZER 250 — the 249cc quarter-litre street naked launched in India in February 2017. All three model names refer to the same platform: FZ25, FZ 250, and FAZER 250 (exported markets). The BS4 (2017–2020) and BS6 (2021–Present) variants share the same in-tank pump module architecture with the same OEM reference. Every unit is tested for correct fuel pressure output and electrical function before dispatch from eAuto.co.in.

1 Set × Mukut Fuel Pump Assembly for Yamaha FZ 25 / FZ 250 / FAZER 250 (2017–2020)
⚠️ When to Replace
The FZ 25 is frequently used for longer commutes and touring runs — a failing fuel pump on a highway stretch is a far worse situation than in city traffic. Watch for these signs:
🔩 Installation Notes
Tank Access: The fuel pump module is inside the 14-litre fuel tank on the FZ 25. Full tank removal is required. Note: the FZ 25 tank is larger than the 149cc FZ V2 tank — budget additional time for removal and refitting.
OEM Reference: The Mukut assembly replaces OEM part number 20P-F4486-00 (also listed as B97-E3907-01). If you have the original receipt or service manual, verify this number matches your bike's documentation before fitting.
Do Not Confuse with FZ V2 / FZ V3: The FZ 25 uses a completely different and larger 249cc engine with its own dedicated fuel pump. The 149cc FZ FI V2 pump (2GS-E3907-00) and the 149cc FZ V3 BS6 pump (B9P-E3907-00) are NOT compatible with this bike.
After Fitment: Turn the ignition on (without starting) and listen for the ~2-second priming buzz. Check for any fuel leaks around the pump flange before starting the engine. Confirm the fuel gauge reads correctly with a known fuel level.
❓ FAQ
A: Yes. FZ25, FZ 250, and FAZER 250 are all names for the same 249cc platform. They share the same fuel tank and pump module. One assembly fits all three.
A: The BS6 FZ 25 launched in 2021 shares the same tank architecture as the BS4 version. The Mukut assembly should fit, but we recommend confirming with eAuto support before ordering for a post-2020 bike.
A: No. The 149cc FZ FI V2 uses a completely different pump (OEM: 2GS-E3907-00). Check the eAuto FZ FI V2 listing for the correct assembly.
A: Often yes. The fuel level float is integrated into the pump module. If the gauge is reading wrong or jumping, the float assembly inside the pump is usually the cause. Replacing the complete pump assembly replaces the float and sender unit simultaneously.
