Tata Motors is launching several new electric cars in India over the next year, including an updated Tiago EV, Sierra EV, and the premium Avinya model.
Tata Motors is set to significantly expand its electric vehicle (EV) lineup in India throughout the next year, building on the success of models like the Harrier EV and Punch EV. The company has plans to roll out three new electric cars across different market segments, reinforcing its commitment to the growing EV landscape.
Among the anticipated launches is an updated Tata Tiago EV, which is expected to feature design enhancements, an upgraded interior with a larger touchscreen, and potentially a larger 30 kWh battery pack for extended range. Following this, the Tata Sierra EV, positioned as a premium electric SUV, will offer multiple battery options and a projected range of around 500 km. The premium push will culminate with the first production model from the Tata Avinya range, expected by early 2027, built on a new platform derived from JLR's EMA architecture.
