The Indian electric vehicle (EV) segment demonstrated strong growth in November 2025, recording a substantial 61.87% year-on-year increase in sales. Tata Motors emerged as the leading automaker, selling 6,153 units, securing the top position despite a month-on-month decline of 15%.

JSW MG Motor followed in second place with 3,693 units, showing a 10.34% year-on-year growth. Mahindra secured the third spot with 2,966 units, boasting an impressive 408.75% year-on-year surge. Other notable performers included Kia India (464 units, 527.03% YoY growth), BYD (425 units, 15.80% YoY growth), Hyundai Motor (372 units, 1671.43% YoY growth), and BMW India (268 units).

New entrants like VinFast, which recently launched the VF 6 and VF 7 in India, sold 291 units, marking a significant 122.14% month-on-month growth. Even Tesla, in its early stages of Indian operations, recorded sales of 48 units, indicating a positive trend for premium EVs in the market.
