Stellantis is significantly expanding its operations in India, positioning the country as a crucial global hub for powertrain manufacturing and technology. The company has invested ₹11,000 crore in India, with its Hosur plant already exporting 95% of the engines and gearboxes it manufactures.

India serves as one of Stellantis' four global tech headquarters, employing 9,000 individuals in research and development and software development. The company aims to increase its direct and indirect supplier value from ₹4,000 crore to ₹10,000 crore by the next fiscal year, further strengthening its local supplier ecosystem.
