This motorcycle is anticipated to be among the first Norton models to launch in India, leveraging the brand's acquisition by TVS and local manufacturing at the Hosur facility.
The video provides a glimpse of the Atlas GT variant being ridden at high speeds, revealing a sporty yet refined exhaust note. The Atlas 585 is powered by a 585cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, producing 69 PS of power and 57.5 Nm of torque. This engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox, featuring a bi-directional quick-shifter and slipper clutch as standard. Designed and engineered at Norton's Solihull headquarters, the Atlas features a robust aesthetic with split LED headlamps, a transparent windscreen, and fully adjustable KYB suspension, indicating its readiness for adventure touring.
