JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the MG Hector Tomahawk electric SUV in India today, August 26, 2026. This new three-row SUV marks the debut of the brand's Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology (ADAPT) and is positioned as a spacious seven-seater offering. Pre-bookings for the vehicle were already open prior to its unveiling.

The Hector Tomahawk EV is expected to feature a robust 69.2 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of approximately 530 to 550 kilometers on a single charge. Powering the SUV is an electric motor capable of generating 201 hp and 200 Nm of torque. Design highlights include dual U-shaped LED DRLs, LED headlamps, a blacked-out grille, dual-tone alloy wheels, and connected LED taillights. The interior boasts a premium beige theme, a large 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Industry estimates suggest the MG Hector Tomahawk EV will be aggressively priced between ₹18 lakh and ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom), with deliveries commencing shortly after launch. A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is also anticipated to arrive at a later stage, further expanding the powertrain options for Indian consumers.
