Mahindra has officially debuted its highly anticipated Scorpio-N based lifestyle pickup truck, following earlier teasers. The new pickup, which traces its origins to the 2023 Global Pik Up concept, marks a significant entry for the Indian brand into the lifestyle pickup segment for private buyers. It is built on the same ladder-frame chassis as the Scorpio-N SUV, featuring a stretched wheelbase to accommodate a larger cargo bed and a distinct exterior design.
The exterior showcases L-shaped LED daytime running lights, slim LED headlights, and vertically stacked LED fog lamps. Inside, the cabin receives a modern refresh with a large portrait-style central touchscreen infotainment unit, a fully digital instrument display, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Expected to offer both 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine options, along with 4x4 and 4x2 drivetrains, the Scorpio-N Pickup is set to rival models like the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max in India.
