Mahindra Introduces XUV 3XO EV in India, Priced from ₹13.89 Lakh

TL;DR

Mahindra has launched its new XUV 3XO EV in India, starting at ₹13.89 lakh, featuring a 39.4kWh battery with a 285km real-world range and advanced features, with deliveries beginning February 23, 2026.

Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its electric SUV portfolio in India with the launch of the new XUV 3XO EV, starting at an ex-showroom price of ₹13.89 lakh. This new electric vehicle effectively replaces the XUV400 and is positioned to compete directly with the Tata Nexon EV. The XUV 3XO EV is available in two variants, AX5 and AX7L, with the latter priced at ₹14.96 lakh. An optional 7.2kW AC charger is available for an additional ₹50,000. Deliveries for the electric SUV are slated to commence on February 23, 2026.

Powering the XUV 3XO EV is a 39.4kWh battery pack connected to a front electric motor, producing 150hp and 310Nm of torque, figures carried over from the XUV400. While the ARAI-rated range is yet to be announced, Mahindra claims a real-world range of 285km on a single charge. The company also states a 0-100kph acceleration time of 8.3 seconds. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes using a 50kW DC charger. The electric SUV largely retains the exterior and interior design of its internal combustion engine counterpart, offering features like a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an ADAS suite on higher variants.
