KTM India has quietly increased the prices for its popular middleweight adventure motorcycles, the 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X. The standard 390 Adventure now carries a price tag of Rs 3.95 lakh, reflecting a significant surge of Rs 27,000. Similarly, the entry-level 390 Adventure X variant has seen its price rise by approximately Rs 22,410, bringing its new ex-showroom (Delhi) price to Rs 3.26 lakh.
This price adjustment comes after KTM initially absorbed the increased GST rate of 40 percent on two-wheelers with engine capacities above 350cc, which was implemented during the Diwali festive season earlier this year. The decision to delay the price hike allowed KTM to capitalize on festive sales. However, with the festive period concluded, the brand has now passed on the increased costs to consumers. The revised pricing places the 390 Adventure in a similar price bracket to rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, with its on-road price nearing the Rs 5 lakh mark.
