The surge in sales was primarily driven by strong festive demand and the recent reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates. Industry experts are optimistic that favorable policy reforms and improved market sentiments will sustain this growth trajectory well into 2026.
Despite the strong year-on-year performance, passenger vehicle sales experienced a monthly decline of 11.2% in November, reversing the 27.8% jump observed in October.
