TL;DR

Ducati has launched the 2026 Hypermotard V2 and V2 SP in India, featuring a new 890cc V-twin engine, lighter chassis, and advanced electronics.

Ducati India has officially launched the 2026 Hypermotard V2 and V2 SP models, bringing the latest iteration of its performance-focused motorcycles to the Indian market. The base Hypermotard V2 is priced at Rs 16.53 lakh (ex-showroom), while the more exclusive Hypermotard V2 SP starts at Rs 20.78 lakh (ex-showroom). These new models feature a host of updates, including a potent 890 cc V-twin engine, redesigned styling cues, a lightweight monocoque chassis, and advanced electronic rider aids.

The new 890 cc V2 engine is touted as Ducati's lightest twin-cylinder unit to date, producing 118.35 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 94 Nm of peak torque at 8,250 rpm. It incorporates an IVT variable intake valve timing system for optimized throttle response across the rev range. The redesigned monocoque frame, coupled with a new double-sided aluminum swingarm, contributes to a significant weight reduction of 13 kg for the standard V2 and 14 kg for the SP version compared to their predecessors. Bookings for both models are now open across all Ducati dealerships nationwide.
