BMW Motorrad Unveils High-Performance 2026 M 1000 R Streetfighter in India

BMW Motorrad has officially launched the new 2026 BMW M 1000 R in the Indian market, bringing its high-performance naked streetfighter to enthusiasts. Priced at ₹33.50 lakh (ex-showroom), this updated model will be sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and features several design tweaks and feature upgrades.

The 2026 BMW M 1000 R boasts an aggressive aesthetic with new dual LED headlamps and BMW's signature M winglets, which are engineered to enhance front-wheel load by up to 11 kg at 220 km/h, thereby improving stability and control at high speeds. Powering the motorcycle is a 999cc inline-four engine, derived from the S 1000 RR supersport, producing 207 bhp at 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,100 rpm.

The motorcycle is equipped with advanced technology including Shift Assistant Pro for seamless gear changes, multiple riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro), traction control, and Brake Slide Assist. Pre-bookings for the M 1000 R are currently open, with deliveries expected to commence by May 2026.
