The move aims to broaden Ather's market reach beyond its current premium performance-focused 450 series and the family-oriented Rizta lineup.
The EL platform is designed to support multiple scooter variants with battery capacities ranging from 2kWh to 5kWh. The production-spec version of the scooter, previously seen in concept form as the EL01 and recently spotted during testing, is anticipated to retain a similar design.
