AMP Introduces India's First Luxury EV Car Subscription Platform

TL;DR

AMP has launched India's first luxury EV car subscription platform, providing access to premium electric vehicles without ownership burdens, targeting salaried professionals and MSMEs.

AMP has launched India's first asset-light, tech-enabled Premium EV car subscription platform, aiming to revolutionize the country's mobility landscape. This innovative platform is designed for salaried professionals, offering access to luxury electric cars from brands like BMW, Mercedes, BYD, Audi, and Volvo without the burdens of ownership, such as high upfront costs, depreciation, and maintenance.

The subscription model provides long-term access to premium EVs, eliminating common concerns like range anxiety and the absence of a defined secondary market for electric vehicles. For MSMEs, AMP's financial engineering converts depreciating vehicle assets into an annuity-generating opportunity. Bharat Bala, Builder / Chief Electric Officer of AMP, highlighted that the platform offers freedom and flexibility, making premium electric mobility affordable, accessible, and aspirational.

AMP's tech-enabled, asset-light model combines capital efficiency with recurring revenue, ensuring scalability and a clear path to profitability. The platform leverages digital tools for seamless vehicle selection, subscription management, and real-time tracking, providing a frictionless and transparent user experience. With supportive government policies, rising ESG priorities, and evolving consumer behavior, AMP is poised to play a pivotal role in accelerating EV adoption across India, starting its operations in NCR with an initial target of 300 premium electric vehicles within 12 months.
