For its 2026 iteration, the motorcycle is introduced in a striking Metallic Ocean Blue color scheme, paying homage to over five decades of the iconic Z series lineage that began with the legendary Z1 in 1972.
While the Z650RS remains mechanically identical to its predecessor, a significant update is its E20 fuel compliance, aligning with India's evolving fuel standards. Powering the motorcycle is a 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, producing 68hp and 62.1Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. This torque figure sees a minor reduction of 1.9Nm compared to the outgoing model, likely a measure to ensure engine longevity with the 20% ethanol blend. The 2026 model commands a premium of ₹14,000 over the previous version.
