eAuto Fuel Pump Assembly for TVS Jupiter BS6 — Analog / Normal Meter (2020–Present) | OEM Ref: K3140870
The complete in-tank fuel pump assembly for the TVS Jupiter BS6 fitted with an analog (normal) meter instrument cluster — covering Standard and Classic variants launched from February 2020. ❓ FAQ
Q: How do I know if my Jupiter has an analog or digital meter?
A: The Standard and Classic BS6 variants have a fully analog speedometer with eco/power indicator lights. The ZX variant has a semi-digital instrument cluster with a digital trip/mileage display alongside an analog speedo. If your console is all-needle with no digital readout panel, you have the analog meter — this is the correct listing.
Q: Why are there two separate Jupiter BS6 fuel pump listings?
A: The Jupiter BS6 ZX variant uses a different fuel pump assembly from the Standard/Classic variants. Mukut supplies them separately to avoid incorrect fitment. Always confirm your instrument cluster type before ordering.
Q: TVS Jupiter BS6 का फ्यूल पंप कहाँ मिलेगा?
A: eAuto.co.in पर TVS Jupiter BS6 के Analog Meter वाले variant के लिए OEM Ref K3140870 फ्यूल पंप असेंबली उपलब्ध है। Free shipping और COD। Digital Meter (ZX) variant के लिए अलग listing है। eAuto — Trusted by Mechanics. Built for Riders.
Q: Does this fit my 2023 Jupiter?
A: Yes. The Jupiter BS6 analog-meter variants (Standard and Classic) have used the same fuel pump assembly since launch in February 2020. The pump is unchanged across all production years from 2020 to present.
⚠️ When to Replace
-
Hard starting or no start — Pump not priming fuel before crank — most common failure sign.
-
No priming buzz on key-ON — Switch ignition to ON and listen for a brief whirr from the tank. Silence = pump motor failure.
-
Engine stalling at idle or in traffic — Intermittent pressure drop causing fuel starvation, especially in stop-go city riding.
-
FI warning light (MIL) — ECU logging a fuel delivery fault code — get the error read before replacing parts.
-
Hesitation or stumble on throttle — Lean surge from inconsistent fuel pressure, most noticeable on acceleration from standstill.
-
Bike ran dry or sat unused — Running the tank to empty forces the pump to run hot; stale fuel varnishes the strainer screen.
Mechanic Tip: Replace the complete assembly — motor, sender unit, and strainer together. Replacing only the motor and leaving an old clogged strainer will cause the new motor to overheat within weeks. Flush the tank if stale fuel or sediment is suspected.
🔩 Installation Notes
Tank Access: The Jupiter BS6 fuel pump is accessed from the underfloor area. Remove the floor panel and drain the tank before starting. The pump housing is secured by a locking ring — use a proper fuel pump spanner; never use a screwdriver on the ring nut.
Analog vs Digital: Confirm your variant is Standard or Classic (analog cluster) before fitting. The ZX pump has a different connector configuration.
Sender Float: Note the orientation of the fuel sender float arm before removing the old unit. Install the new assembly in the same orientation to ensure accurate fuel gauge readings.
