⚠️ When to Replace Your Fuel Pump
The Activa 6G fuel pump typically lasts 40,000–60,000 km under normal city riding conditions. Symptoms of a failing pump on a scooter often mimic ignition problems — always rule out the fuel pump before replacing the ignition coil or ECM.
🔩 Installation Notes
The Activa 6G fuel pump is located under the floorboard in the main body section, accessed by removing the body panels and then the fuel tank lid. Drain the fuel tank before removal. The pump module is secured by a locking ring — turn anticlockwise to remove. Note the orientation of the fuel float arm before removal and align identically on reinstallation to ensure accurate fuel gauge readings.
