Maharashtra led individual states in passenger vehicle sales with 1.58 lakh units.

The two-wheeler segment continued to be a cornerstone of the industry, recording total sales of 56.96 lakh units during Q3 FY26. Uttar Pradesh significantly led this category with 8.62 lakh units, followed by Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Bihar. This highlights robust demand in both rural and semi-urban areas. The three-wheeler segment also saw strong performance, with the Western Zone leading regional sales.
