Concurrently, Tesla has discontinued the Model Y Long Range Premium RWD variant, previously priced at Rs 67.89 lakh, streamlining its Indian portfolio to two variants: the new Premium RWD and the Model Y L Premium AWD, which was introduced last month.
The 2026 Model Y Premium RWD comes with notable enhancements, including an upgraded 16-inch primary touchscreen and a new 8.0-inch touchscreen for rear passengers. Customers can choose between an all-black or a 'Zen Grey' interior theme. Performance-wise, the five-seater EV boasts a WLTP-certified range of up to 500 km and can accelerate from 0-100 kph in a claimed 5.9 seconds. The vehicle offers a substantial storage capacity of 2,138 litres with power-folding rear seats, emphasizing both comfort and practicality for Indian consumers.
