Tata Motors has released the first teaser for the facelifted version of its popular micro-SUV, the Punch, confirming that the updated model will be officially unveiled on January 13, 2026. This marks the first significant design and feature-focused refresh for the ICE-powered Punch since its debut in 2021.

The teaser images reveal a noticeably more modern and premium design, drawing inspiration from the Punch.ev and Tata’s newer SUV lineup. Notable exterior changes include a reworked front bumper with chunky black cladding, vertically stacked LED headlamps, sleek LED DRLs, a larger air-dam, and a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear styling also sees revisions, including a connected taillamp cluster.

While mechanicals are expected to remain largely unchanged, continuing with the 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, the facelift is anticipated to bring interior upgrades. These could include a revamped layout, an updated infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and a digital instrument cluster. Safety enhancements like a 360-degree camera setup are also hinted at.
