Passenger vehicle volumes in South India surged by 35% year-on-year, contributing to an overall industry growth of 25%.

The two-wheeler sector also saw robust growth, expanding by 20% year-on-year, with Southern regional volumes climbing 34%, primarily led by Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Commercial vehicles recorded 14% to 21% year-on-year volume growth, further highlighting a broad-based demand expansion supported by tax revisions and evolving regional consumption patterns.
