The iconic Renault Duster has made its return to the Indian market, unveiled in an all-new 2026 avatar after a four-year hiatus. This revamped version aims to redefine the compact SUV segment once again, featuring modern and robust styling, a wide array of powertrain options, and a comprehensive list of equipment to stay competitive.
The new Duster retains its rugged essence with a boxy design but incorporates numerous premium elements for a contemporary appeal. Inside, it boasts a modern dual-screen layout, powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and physical controls for essential functions. Key features include a Google OS-based touchscreen, a digital driver's display, a powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera, camera-based ADAS, and six airbags with ESC for enhanced safety.
Engine options will include a 1-liter turbo-petrol, a more powerful 1.3-liter mild-hybrid turbo-petrol, and a strong-hybrid setup expected to arrive later in the year. With an expected price range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), bookings are already open, with deliveries for turbo-petrol variants set to begin in April, and hybrid variants around Diwali.
