Renault is preparing to launch the electric version of its popular Kwid model, potentially named E-Kwid, in India during the first quarter of 2026. This new electric vehicle aims to compete with established models like the Tata Tiago.ev and Citroën eC3 in the compact EV segment.
The E-Kwid is expected to feature a 26.8 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 230–250 km on a single charge, and an electric motor producing around 65 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. In terms of design, it will sport a closed-off grille, Y-shaped LED headlights and DRLs, 14-inch aero alloy wheels, and unique LED taillights, distinguishing it as an electric offering.
