The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been spotted undergoing testing near the company's UK Technology Centre in Leicestershire, appearing in a near-production state. These recent sightings indicate that the adventure motorcycle is nearing its global debut, with an official unveiling expected at EICMA 2026.
Royal Enfield CEO B. Govindarajan previously confirmed the introduction of a new 750cc motorcycle platform at EICMA 2026, putting to rest earlier speculations about a 650cc twin. The spotted test mule, a road-focused version, draws styling cues from the Himalayan 450, including an identical LED headlamp. However, it distinguishes itself with a more substantial windscreen and a proper fairing integrated with the headlamp and fuel tank, unlike the tank cages on the 450.
Mechanically, the 750cc motor is expected to retain a 270-degree crankshaft but deliver increased power compared to the current 650cc twin. A significant technological advancement for Royal Enfield will be the inclusion of a ride-by-wire throttle, enabling features like riding modes and cruise control. The motorcycle will also feature a 450-like circular TFT display, Showa USD forks, a rear monoshock with remote preload adjustability, and twin front discs with ByBre calipers.
