Mercedes-Benz launched its all-electric CLA sedan in India, starting at ₹55 lakh, featuring advanced EV technology and targeting a younger demographic, with over 400 pre-bookings already received.

Mercedes-Benz India officially launched its all-electric CLA sedan on April 24, 2026, marking a significant entry into the country's luxury EV segment. The new CLA, available in three variants, starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹55 lakh. Deliveries for the CLA 250+ Long Range are set to commence by the end of April 2026, while the CLA 200 Standard Range will follow in June.

The CLA electric is built on Mercedes-Benz's new Modular Architecture (MMA) and features an 800-volt electrical system, enabling ultra-fast DC charging. The CLA 250+ Long Range boasts a WLTP certified range of up to 792 kilometers, capable of recovering 400 kilometers of range in just 20 minutes with a 240 kW charger. The standard CLA 200 offers a WLTP range of 542 kilometers.

The vehicle integrates a new virtual assistant powered by AI tools like ChatGPT4, MS Bing, and Gemini, alongside standard Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, which can be upgraded via over-the-air updates.
