Kia Syros EV Details Emerge: Expected 520km Range and Open Bookings

TL;DR

Kia Syros EV is expected to launch with up to 520km range and unofficial bookings are now open through dealers in India.

Ahead of its anticipated late July or August 2026 launch, details regarding the Kia Syros EV's battery and range specifications have reportedly surfaced through dealer sources. Unofficially, dealerships have begun accepting bookings for the subcompact electric SUV with a token amount of Rs 25,000, signaling strong market interest.

The Kia Syros EV is expected to offer two battery options: a standard 42 kWh pack with an ARAI-certified range of approximately 420 km, and a long-range 51.4 kWh pack promising an impressive 520 km on a single charge. This extended range positions the Syros EV to surpass the Tata Nexon EV Long Range variant. Both versions are slated to feature a single, front-mounted electric motor, with specific power and torque figures yet to be officially disclosed.
