Kia India Expands Assured Buyback Program to Include Most ICE and EV Models

TL;DR

Kia India has expanded its assured buyback program to cover most of its locally produced ICE and EV models, offering up to 75% residual value for ICE and 70% for EVs after three years.

Kia India has broadened its assured buyback program to encompass a wider range of its locally produced cars, including models like the Sorento, Seltos, Sonet, Carens Clavis, Carens, and Syros. The program, initially launched with the Syros EV, now extends to all powertrain options for these vehicles, covering petrol, CNG, diesel, hybrid, and electric variants. Under this scheme, customers can avail an assured residual value of up to 75 percent for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) models and up to 70 percent for EV models after three years, subject to specific terms and conditions.

The buyback program offers flexible tenure options of three, four, and five years for ICE models, and three and four years for EVs. Annual running limits, such as 10,000km, 15,000km, and 20,000km, are available, with a maximum cap of 100,000km over the entire ownership period. Customers can enroll in the program at the time of vehicle purchase through authorized Kia dealerships, ensuring they can realize the assured buyback value upon the completion of their chosen tenure.
