Kawasaki has introduced the Z1100 supernaked motorcycle to the Indian market, carrying an ex-showroom price of ₹12.79 lakh. This new model features a larger engine and significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Kawasaki Z1000.
The Z1100 retains the aggressive 'Sugomi' design language, giving it a distinctive ready-to-pounce stance with menacing twin-pod LED headlamps, a sharply sculpted tank, and a pointed tail section. Underneath its striking exterior, the motorcycle is powered by a 1,099cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine, shared with the Ninja 1100SX, which produces 136bhp and 113Nm of torque.
Equipped with an array of modern features, the Z1100 boasts a new five-inch TFT display that allows riders to customize electronic aids such as a five-axis IMU, two power modes, three levels of traction control, a bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control, and dual-channel ABS. The instrument cluster also includes Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, calls, and message alerts, making it a technologically advanced offering in the supernaked segment.
