Honda Elevates Motorcycle Technology with E-Clutch Integration in 2026 CB750 Hornet

TL;DR

Honda is bringing its E-clutch technology to the 2026 CB750 Hornet, making it the first E-clutch model with throttle-by-wire for an enhanced riding experience.

Honda is expanding its E-clutch system to the 2026 CB750 Hornet, making it the fourth motorcycle in the manufacturer's lineup to feature this innovative technology. This integration follows its successful deployment in the CBR650R and CB650R models available in India, and the Rebel 300 cruiser sold overseas.

Distinguishing itself, the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-clutch is the first Honda E-clutch model to incorporate throttle-by-wire, ensuring that its performance—91.8 hp and 75 Nm from its 755-cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine—remains unhindered. Unlike the fully automatic DCT system, the E-clutch allows riders to change gears manually without needing to modulate the clutch, providing a more intuitive and enjoyable riding experience, particularly for daily commuting.
