Honda CBR600RR 2027 Model Unveiled Globally, India Not Included in Launch Plans

TL;DR

Honda has updated the CBR600RR globally with sharper brakes and integrated aerodynamics for 2027, but the model will not be launched in India.

Honda has introduced a sharper 2027 model of its CBR600RR supersport motorcycle, featuring significant enhancements to its braking system and aerodynamics. The updated bike now includes new radial-mount Nissin calipers, derived from the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, and a more configurable ABS system with Standard, Track, and Race settings. Aerodynamic improvements see integrated profiles replacing the separate winglets on the front fairing, maintaining downforce with a cleaner appearance. The 599cc inline-four engine continues to deliver 118bhp.

Despite these performance-focused upgrades, the Indian market will unfortunately not receive the 2027 CBR600RR. This update highlights Honda's commitment to refining its middleweight supersport offering globally, even as specific models remain absent from India's growing premium motorcycle segment. The focus on braking feel, repeatability, and aerodynamic efficiency aims to provide riders with a more precise and responsive machine.
