Hero MotoCorp has expanded its electric scooter lineup in India with the introduction of the Vida VX2 Plus 4.4kWh variant, priced at Rs 1,50,990 (ex-showroom). This new model features a larger battery pack, significantly boosting its claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range to 187km, addressing a key concern for potential EV buyers. The updated variant also comes standard with a faster portable charger.
The 4.4kWh battery pack is composed of two removable 2.2kWh units, offering convenience and flexibility for charging. The enhanced range is expected to alleviate range anxiety, making the Vida VX2 Plus a more appealing option for daily commutes and longer journeys. Dealerships are anticipated to have the new variant available for test rides and purchases by the end of July 2026.
