Harley-Davidson has implemented a price increase for its X440 motorcycle in India, with prices rising by up to ₹2,000 depending on the variant. This marks the second price adjustment for the X440 this year. Following this revision, the entry-level price for the Harley-Davidson X440 now stands at ₹2.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The price hike applies to both the 'S' and 'T' variants, with the 'S' variant seeing an increase of ₹1,000 and the 'T' variant becoming ₹2,000 more expensive. Despite the price revision, the motorcycle retains its mechanical specifications, including the 440cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 27 bhp and 38 Nm of torque.
The company stated that there are no changes to the engine or other mechanical components with this price update. The Harley-Davidson X440 continues to compete with models such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda H'ness CB350, and Triumph Speed 400 in the Indian market.
