The BSA Scrambler 650 is scheduled to make its official debut in India today, April 23, 2026. Built upon the foundation of the BSA Goldstar 650, this new scrambler variant receives a series of hardware upgrades to enhance its rugged, off-road-friendly character. It is expected to be a significant contender in the retro-scrambler segment.
Powering the BSA Scrambler 650 is the same 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the Goldstar 650, which produces 44.38 bhp and 55 Nm of torque, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. The motorcycle features revised suspension with increased travel, including 41mm telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks with pre-load adjustment, making it better equipped for varied road conditions. Braking is managed by a 320mm front disc and a 255mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS, and it rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
