BMW Motorrad has officially commenced pre-bookings for its upcoming F 450 GS adventure motorcycle in India, ahead of its anticipated launch later this week. This twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle is set to go on sale from April 23, 2026, and will be locally developed at the TVS production facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

The F 450 GS is expected to enter the market with an estimated starting price of around ₹4 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete directly with other adventure bikes such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Kawasaki Ninja 500, and KTM 390 Adventure. The motorcycle is poised to offer advanced features including various Ride Modes, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and ABS Pro.

Powering the F 450 GS will be a 420cc twin-cylinder water-cooled engine, capable of producing 47 bhp of peak power and 43 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Its local production signifies BMW Motorrad's growing commitment to the Indian market and is expected to offer competitive pricing and after-sales support.
