Bajaj Auto's New Adventure Motorcycle Spotted Testing, Hints at Upcoming Xpulse Rival

TL;DR

Bajaj Auto's new adventure motorcycle, likely an Xpulse rival, was spotted testing with adventure-focused design, wire-spoke wheels, and a potential 250cc liquid-cooled engine, set for a late 2026/early 2027 launch.

Bajaj Auto's highly anticipated adventure motorcycle has been sighted undergoing road tests near Pune once again, providing further details about what could be the company's first dedicated adventure tourer under its own brand. The latest spy shots reveal a test mule with an adventure-focused design, featuring a raised front fender, wire-spoke wheels, long-travel suspension, and an upswept exhaust.

Despite heavy camouflage, the motorcycle's silhouette clearly indicates its intention for adventure touring. It boasts upright ergonomics and a long single-piece seat, suggesting comfort for long-distance rides, while a relatively high handlebar position allows riders to stand comfortably during light off-road excursions. The test bike was also equipped with a sizable rear top box, further emphasizing its touring capabilities and practicality, with ample space for a pillion.

While the headlamp setup remains concealed, it is expected to feature a full-LED lighting package. Potential features include Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, and other ride-related electronics. The engine casing bears resemblance to KTM's newer platforms, and reports suggest the motorcycle could house a 250cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. Upon its expected launch towards the end of 2026 or early 2027, this new Bajaj ADV is projected to compete with models like the Hero Xpulse 210, Suzuki V-Strom SX, and Yezdi Adventure.
