Tata Motors is preparing to launch another updated version of its entry-level electric hatchback, the Tiago.ev, in 2026. Fresh spy shots indicate that the carmaker is introducing subtle design tweaks and updated features to maintain the model's competitiveness in India's rapidly growing EV market. This follows a minor facelift the Tiago.ev received in January 2025.
According to reports, the refreshed Tiago.ev will feature reworked headlamps, restyled bumpers, and revised tail lamps. While the test mule spotted still utilized 14-inch stylized steel wheels, there's a possibility of new paint shades being added to enhance its appeal. Major sweeping changes to the interior are unlikely given the comprehensive refresh in the 2025 update, but the 2026 facelift could include a redesigned digital driver's display for improved information layout.
The mechanical specifications are expected to remain unchanged. The Medium Range (MR) variant will continue with a 19.2kWh battery and a 60hp motor, offering a 223km range. The Long Range (LR) variant will feature a 24kWh battery with a 74hp motor, delivering a 293km range (MIDC cycle). Overall, the 2026 facelift is anticipated to be a subtle yet meaningful update, preserving the Tiago.ev's core strengths while keeping it fresh.
